Its absolutely shocking when one gets to hear such headlines and stories -

I am sure the normal people on roads would not know why they died but isnt it starkly shocking to hear that Orissa wildlife department has no clue how such huge number of their schedule 1 specie is dying - have heard lame excuses like sun stroke etc.

Its shameful on how we treat our wildlife esp. when the protectors have no interest to do anything positive.

I am aware of the huge amount of money/funding that comes in to protect the elephants in Orissa/Bengal/Jharkhand - isn't it at all accountable esp. after what we hear about their poor status?

As a true citizen of my country and a wildlife lover, I demand an explanation as to why the Orissa wildlife department is so lackluster about the elephants well being and what are the reasons of their deaths(no lame excuses please) and what steps are taken for their safe passage and protection.

This is a demand by LAW UNDER THE WILDLIFE PROTECTION ACT esp. for schedule 1 specie and our national heritage animal.

Hope I get my rightful answer as a concerned citizen.
