Ever since Ranveer and ishani got married in dec 2014 MATSH has been the slot leader for colors. Yes it had its ups and downs like any other show but during July- September 2015 it always had a place in the top 10 as per as the TRP is concerned and even managed to reach trp of 4 at one point.

But after going through six and a half months of torture rather than entertainment (Expected, as it is inspired by Wuthering Heights), they ended the RITIKA's Track ridiculously and abruptly and the shows TRP started to fall. Even after that, during the Millan track, the show had a constant trp of 2.2-2.6 but they wanted more and decided to separate the couple again without even properly reuniting them and that was like the final nail to the coffin of MATSH. Because of the continuous separations and repetitive hate tracks the viewers lost hope and the shows trp is in the gutter now.

To make things even worse, the channel stop promoting Meri Aashiqui tum se hi, people left the show because the track looks similar to the plots during MARCH-APRIL (How they are separated, the divorce drama, Ranveer's hate and MUs etc.) and because the channel isn't promoting the show, the viewers who left, do not know what is going on. Thinking that it is the same plot as the previous one, even though it is not, they are not watching it and hence the low trp. We believe that if they sincerely promote MATSH and improve the story so that presence of Ranveer and Ishveer increases this show can do wonders because their married life yet to be shown.

On top of not promoting they are cutting down its running time (The 12th and 13th January 2016 episodes were respectively 14:23 and 14:22 minutes long ). In a recent interview with Bollywood-Life Shakti Aoroa said that ISHVEER will be reunited in 10 to 15 episodes but looking at the duration of the episodes that will happen in the second week of February and until then people are not willing to watch. Hence, the TRP of the show is really low and because of that the show going off- air rumor is going on. So, Please COLORS TV restore its daily running time back to 21-22 min because the show has enough problem as it is.

I never watch Indian Soap Operas and used to say that there is a mother and there is wife and they fight and who watches this nonsense but this show is different, it was about true love, the tracks were smaller and i got attach to it. I am an active member in INDIA-FORUM and many members feel the same way. It's really sad to see the negligence of the channel towards a show that gave them constant rating and deserting it when it needs them the most, i humbly request you all to support this petition so that colors may start to promote the show and stop neglecting it so that it can relive its glory days again.
