Hooray! We are past the 200 signatures mark!

Thank you to everyone who has signed - please pass this on to friends and family - together we can make a difference for our young people.

Some updates from my side:

• I finally got a response from my various emails to the Prime Minister and various ministers that I got passed along to. Please see the image above for the response. It really feels like a dead-end reply, which is disappointing.
• I replied by asking whether or not NZ would ever bring into law something similar to the KOSA (Kids Online Safety Act) that the USA Senate has just passed.
• I would highly recommend you read Jonathan Haidt's book - 'The Anxious Generation' - it is absolute GOLD in terms of data on the effects of social media and our kids. I eventually just went to Whitcoulls and bought it as the waiting list at the library is crazy (I'm number 200+ in the line!). I had been listening to the audiobook version on Spotify, but that was not quite enough for me. I realise I need to write as I read, and go back again and re-read things.
