Some updates from this first week:

1. I have written to the Prime Minister's office urging him to raise this issue in parliament. I would encourage you to write in as well - the more noise we make, hopefully the more attention this will receive. I received a reply to say that it would be passed on to Judith Collins Minister of Science and Technology. Let's see where that goes...
2. I have written to Mike King from the Gumboot Army - he is not keen on supporting as he doesn't believe in the need for any restrictions on social media. I don't agree.
3. I have written to NZHerald to let them know about the petition - no answer yet. Anyone have any leads there?
4. I found an amazing FB group called the Unplugged Rebels - they are a group of concerned parents with amazing resources and work in this area. Please feel free to join them - there are just under 800 members.
5. From this group I found an amazing resource for research on this topic - go and check it out: www.afterbabel.com. You don't need to pay anything. You get access to all the reports for free.
