Raise Awareness of Coercive Control and Emotional Abuse

Raise Awareness of Coercive Control and Emotional Abuse
The Issue
Growing up in Millville, NJ, I often found relationships to be an uphill battle, not realizing until much later in life that the difficulties stemmed from my skewed perception of what was deemed 'normal'. It took me years to understand that I could pursue happiness without needing permission from others. Speaking out about the emotional abuse, stalking, intimidation, and coercive control I experienced has not been easy, and often it brought more challenges, but it was the right path to healing.
Through my journey, I learned that significant change begins from within. By making positive changes that counteracted self-defeating behaviors, I've been able to combat the loneliness that once felt overwhelming. It has also opened my eyes to the importance of awareness and education on narcissistic bullying and coercive control.
Emotional abuse and coercive control are often invisible chains that bind their victims, making it difficult for them to reach out for help. Yet, it is crucial to realize there is support available, and seeking help is a courageous first step towards recovery. Narcissistic bullying awareness groups play a critical role in helping victims find strength and validation in their experiences.
In Millville, NJ, a community effort to raise awareness about these damaging behaviors and provide resources for those affected is essential. Our goal is not only to recognize and support survivors but also to educate and prevent future incidents of emotional abuse and coercive control.
I urge you to stand with me and shine a light on these hidden yet pervasive issues in our community. By signing this petition, you are taking a stand against emotional abuse and coercive control and supporting those who need it the most. Together, we can foster a community where everyone has the strength and resources they need to thrive free from fear and control. Please sign and share this petition to make a difference.
