Thousands of citizens from Vidarbha stay in and around Thane & Navi Mumbai. When these citizens want to travel to any station between Akola & Gondia, Vidarbha Express (Train no 12105 DN),  Amravati Express (Train no 12111 DN) and Gitanjali express (Train no 12859 DN) are the most preferred trains. However none of these trains have a stop at Thane & the passengers have to travel all the way to Kalyan or Dadar. It is a logistical nightmare for all passenger including old-age people and families with small kids to travel to both Kalyan & Dadar by local trains during peak hours (it may not be economical for everyone to hire a taxi & go to Kalyan/Dadar). Will be very considerate of the ministry and railway board if they could create a stop at Thane station for these trains. Similarly while returning back, the only train which has convenient time of stoppage at Thane is Vidarbha express (Train no 12106 UP). Again considering the inability of old-age people & families with kids to manage transportation at wee hours, request the authorities to add Thane stoppage for Amravati Express (Train no 12112 UP) and Gitanjali express (Train no 12860 DN).
