Mayurbhanj is the largest tribal district of odisha.Medical college,North odisha University,Similipal tighter reserve,similipal Biosphere and many turist places exist in this district.Linkage of this RAILWAY line will uplift the tribals.The proposal have been pending for approval with Railway Board since 2011.Recenyly Smt Sarojini Hembram has raised the issue in Rajyasabha.New line from Budhamara to chakulia is long standing demand of the region.if constructed , bhubenswar- New Delhi Distance will decrease and goods transportation will be better.This link is important under port connectivity.
