Dear Rail Supporter,

I hope you had a pleasant Christmas and a happy new year period with family and friends!

Soon we will need to focus on issues that matter to us in regional NSW knowing that this is going to be an election year.

Unfortunately, with our prolonged campaign to get trains back to areas north of Armidale, no major party has committed to extending the train service or restoring the rail line north of Armidale to Queensland. From the government's side, either it is engaged in making yet another regional transport plan for New England-Northwest with a completion date of 2026 end or asking proponents like us to produce a business case(costing about $200,000 minimum).

In this context we in regional NSW need to look to independents at the next federal election who may take up our cause.  In this regard, following project may be of interest to you:
