Dear all,
Armidale station will come to light once again with this dinner train this Friday,Saturday and Sunday taking New Englanders for dinner at Walcha Hotel and return.
It shows the demand for such trains connecting Armidale to other locations.
Unfortunately such opportunities do not exist at present north of Armidale. if the Armidale regional and Glen Innes Council have their way, we will have no opportunity for such trains from Armidale to Guyra, Glen Innes, or Tenterfield for another 30 years?
This is because the plan to construct the rail trail(bike path0 requires the removal of rail line north of Armidale to Glen Innes.
The train is operated by Lachlan Valley Railway.

This tour starts from and returns to Armidale You are requested to be at the station at least 20 minutes prior to departure. Departure times are indicative and may change once timings are confirmed with Track Operators.
