Hello,
Only two out of the five candidates have come out openly talking about the usefulness of Northern Railway line from Armidale to Queensland Border.
Duncan Fisher, independent wants the Rail corridor preserved for 75 years so that it can be used for Trains services when required. He wants train services to Tenterfield.
Natasha Ledger sees the value of the Rail line to transport waste to produce energy.
Dorothy Robinson prefers more bus services to Brisbane and to Guyra,Inerell, Glen Innes and back to Armidale.
Brendon Moylen has not included transport in his priority areas. The position of Shooters and Fishers party candidate is unclear.
There you go. Make up your mind about how to vote on Saturday if you are concerned about public transport issues in Northern Tablelands. We need a strong voice in NSW Parliament rather than someone who sits on the fence as did the previous member.
