Dear Rail Supporter,

Thanks for signing the oetition and sharing as well. 

Number of supporters have gone over 3000 now and keep doing what you do to publicise the petition and get more supporters.

We need to do this to show the authorities both at local government and NSW government level that the people in New England and surrounding areas do not wish to see our historic rail line north of Armidale be demolished to pave way for a recreational bike trai.

Our request is not unreasonable.  We want descent public transport service for the areas north of Armidale to Queensland border. This area has been neglected by all kinds of governments and councils  for 34 odd years. Then some in councils preach to the residents that train services are not coming anytime soon therefore we better remove the line and build the bike trail? Our question to these councillors who shed crocodile tears is that why don't you advocate for the restoration of train services instead of removing our one and only rail line to Queensland?
