TrainsNorth President Mr. Matthew Tierney and Vice President for Guyra Mr. Rob Lenehan met Mr. Marshall  in his Armidale office last Friday(20.10.2023) and handed the petition addressed to NSW Legislative Assembly.  It is requesting the speaker and Legislatures to restore passenger train services between Armidale and Jennings/Wallangarra near the Queensland border.

We believe that once the petition is delivered to the clerk in NSW Legislative Assembly by Mr. Marshall, the clerk will table it and a date for the debate will be decided by LA.

I will keep you informed about the date of debate -most likely to be in early 2024.
