Forwarding the petition to the Decision-Makers

Dear Supporter,

Once we reach 1500 signatures, I intend to forward the petition with a covering letter to the decision-makers. 

The term of office for the two Mayors will expire once the new Councils are in place. I will have to make a decision as to whether the petition is sent to current Mayors or the new ones? 

In the meantime, please educate the candidates for the Local Government elections about this issue and obtain their support for the cause.

I will also forwrd the petition to two members of parliament -State and Federal -in due course. Likewise to the NSW State government ministers responsible for regional development and transport, the Premier plus shadow minister and Opposition leader.

If there is any news about a planned legislative amendment to ther Trransport Act, I will forward the petition to other minor party leaders in the State Assembly and Legislature as well.
