Waddington International Air show is a vital showground to all for modern and historical aircraft and has been cancelled for 2015 due to runway construction. There is no confirmation of the show being relocated to RAF Scampton. This should be the case and the Airshow should be permanently based at RAF Scampton with its great aeronautical history for the Lancaster and now the home of the Red Arrows and also when the new Air Heritage Centre is built there. Lincoln also depends on the tourism it brings for its local economy.
