Torn Between Integrity & Money - Why So Many Fans Have Lost Faith In Radish Fiction
**I would like to firstly specify, this is not a complaint to dictate the direction of a writer's work, this is a request to change the way Radish Fiction is promoting a story that has been rewritten, ultimately erasing the previous chapters that many readers have already paid for. And a plea to remove comment sections and put an end to the toxic behaviour encouraged between readers. No book app should be the cause of anxiety and being the target of cyberbullying and doxing by other readers. **.
This is a message for Radish Fiction, who are currently promoting a story on their site which is no longer the one that is currently advertised. The story is Torn Between Alphas (originally Selling Myself to The Alpha) by Miz Panda. Many readers have invested years of their life to reading this story, spending a great deal of money in the process. It has become clear in recent months that the entire story is being rewritten, discrediting all the previous chapters purchased by fans. The original premise of the story (Torn Between Alphas), is no longer a focus and one of the main male protagonist, (Xavier Evers), who is supposed to be one of the alphas the main protagonist is torn between, is almost being written out of the storyline. Him and the other main protagonist (Caliana Hart) are barely even written in the same chapter anymore, making these two completely different stories now.
Some fans feel deceived and hoodwinked by the change in plotline. The main protagonists are not even written true to their original characterisation any longer. The narrative of the first 13 parts of the story was co-opted and changed with no cohesive explanation, nothing to justify the narrative and character assassination from part 14 to now. This constitutes as false advertising, effectively defrauding hundreds of readers.
Radish Fiction also do nothing to stop the cyberbullying and toxic behaviour between readers, they instead encourage it by writing chapters that deliberately cause animosity. just to get more coins used.. Many readers have had to give up because they have been so terribly bullied, to the point they will not even open the Radish Fiction app any longer. Why would readers want to pay for a story that A) is no longer the one that is advertised and B) Somewhere they get bullied, doxed and targeted by a fanbase who continue to use aggressive tactics to achieve their own narrative. For which, I am sad to say has worked and currently still is!
Radish Fiction have been told countless times about the doxing and bullying that goes on within comment sections and live chat forums, as well as out with their site. They have even been given a list of usernames that are the culprits. Yet the genuine fans are the ones who have stopped reading and the individuals in question are still filling the comment sections with their hate speech.
Either save TBA from the wreckage or sink the ship that has already sailed, change the title (again) so you are not luring more fans into this monotonous merry go round of inconsistent storylines, sickening plot twists and toxicity between readers. This is a reading app, not a social media platform. Remove comment sections and let readers (not trolls) enjoy reading books on your site again. Let the writer compose her story without the influence of these individuals who are putting off genuine readers from carrying on reading Torn Between Alphas.
Thanks for reading
