This petition is to bring light to a big corporation (entercom/radio.com) who has suddenly rebranded our favorite local music radio station - displacing it’s employees.  The station now brings no support to our local community or local music scene.  The DJs and producers are from downstate.

The altbuffalo station has created a family within our community. Our locaL DJs have brought local talent on their shows, and in concert. Often you could find our dj’s at local restaurants and bars promoting the local music scene as well as local charities. 

BESIDES all of the good altbuffalo has done for our community - it has always provided us with great music that strays from the norm and keeps us asking for more. Now we are greeted in the morning with tacky talk shows. The music being spun is poppy and not the alt scene we love. There is no more localized. There is no more Sunday morning coming down.  

Our hosts, Dj’s and friends are out of a job during a very hard time. A job that they were passionate about and loved. We want them back. Or we want a new platform for them to play alt music for us as a family. 

Go home entercom. Bring back our AltFamily!
