On December 16th, 2023, Jamaiya Miller, a young Black Amazon delivery driver In Houston Texas, was attempting to deliver an expected package to a resident on the 2nd floor of the Belle Meade at River Oaks apartment complex in Houston, Texas. The area in which this delivery was scheduled to take place is a known hot bed for southern bred racism and hatred toward black people. The package delivery instructions stated to explicitly bring the package directly to the suite. As Jamaiya exited the elevator and tried to make her way to the package recipient's door, she came in contact with an unidentified white elderly resident of the 2nd floor. Jamaiya explained that she was there to complete an Amazon delivery and  proceeded to find the apartment door. That's when Jamaiya was verbally and physically assaulted and unlawfully restrained by the unidentified white elderly resident of the 2nd floor. The resident refused to allow the amazon worker to deliver the package, because the amazon worker is black!

The unidentified white resident of the 2nd floor, shot verbally with vitriol at Jamaiya,"we've had thieves here and you're a thief!" All while knowing exactly who the "thief" she made reference to was.  As Jamaiya is in full Amazon uniform, she respectfully and politely asks to be excused, to which she was blocked, pushed up against a wall and continued to be physically assaulted by the racist unidentified white female. As Jamaiya feared for her safety, she screams for help to other residents, and she was shockingly told that security would be called... on her! Jamaiya did nothing wrong, but attempted to deliver an expected amazon package to a resident of the complex. Belle Meade and Entrata, Inc. are requested to identify the resident who physically and verbally assaulted Jamaiya, immediately! 

We are demanding Entrata, Inc., the management company of Belle Meade at River Oaks Apartments to Identify that resident NOW! And we also are DEMANDING the full eviction of said unidentified resident for a complete lease and human rights violation of blatant racial profiling along with the privileged verbal and physical assault that took place!
