Dear Supporters,

If any of you reside in New Brunswick or know anyone in New Brunswick who opposes racism at the UNB law school that is curently happening against 'white' applicants, encourage them to sign the petition here:  https://c.org/ndSVSWtw9t

Specific to the UNB Law school, on grades they denied 9 'white' applicants despite their higher grades than the 'racial minority' applicants.  On the LSAT, they overadmitted 2 'white' applicants despite their lower LSAT scores and underadmitted 5 'racial minority' applicants despite their higher LSAT scores and refused to provide any race-based data from the Indigenous applicant group.  The UNB law school also refused to provide any of the race-based data from any of the applicant racial groups for those admitted  to the law school.

The New Brunswick Minister of Post-Secondary Education has denied he has the authority to introduce legislation to stop this racism, even racism against the racial minority group, despite other provinces such as the Ontario government stopping this racism through Bill 33.  By denying, he is supporting this racism even though we know it is legally protected it is still not fair.  Send him an email to change his mind:  Hon. Jean-Claude D'Amours,    Jean-Claude.D'Amours@gnb.ca
