Due to the unfortunate events of COVID-19, the Class of 2020 was unable to experience the remainder of their college career. We are requesting that Quinnipiac University allows us to have a traditional senior week on campus before or after the eventual graduation. We believe this will allow us to celebrate our achievements and life long friendships we have made over the past four years as well as giving us a chance to say our final goodbyes to those we may never see again. 

These unprecedented events allowed seniors to reflect and develop an even deeper appreciation for their years at Quinnipiac. With Bobcat Spirit at heart, the liability of a traditional senior week would be less of a concern than ever before as seniors want nothing more than to be together and will follow any guidelines necessary. This week would also allow for Alumni weekend to stay Alumni weekend and not a makeup for all senior events that were missed. 

In addition, a major concern for the seniors is where they will stay before or after graduation as many students come from all over the country. By bringing back the traditional senior week, where Quinnipiac allowed students to stay in the residence halls, will help with this concern.

We are so grateful and appreciative for attending such a supportive university during a confusing and heartbreaking time. Quinnipiac holds a very important place in our hearts that we weren't and still aren't prepared to let go. 

Please consider signing this to help rewrite the story of the Quinnipiac Class of 2020 and emphasize this widespread wish. We greatly appreciate the support and hope to see you at the Bobcat in the near future.
