Los gatos en Conil de la Frontera no están cuidados como debieran, cada día podemos ver como malviven en la calle, esto crea un problema en el pueblo tanto para los que viven en él como para los visitantes vacacionales muchos sensiblilizados desde sus lugares de origen en el cuidado animal y que sufren viendo la situación de la población felina.

Ciudadanos y asociaciones como Street Cats Rescue intentan velar por ellos de una manera altruista pero ya no pueden más, este es un problema social que debe ser abordado por las administraciones públicas, necesitamos que el Ayuntamieto de Conil de La Frontera no mire a otro lado y afronte este problema que es de todos, se necesitan  ayudas para las castraciones y desparasitaciones de los gatos callejeros y  establecer un centro o área  donde se pueda recoger a los gatos,  colaborando estrechamente con las asociaciones que ya ayudan en colonias del municipio.

To turn Conil de la Frontera into a "cat-friendly" town.
For years now the community cats of Conil de la Frontera have been in a precarious situation. Every day it can be observed how the ever-growing number of cats do not receive the care and attention they need and deserve, but struggle to survive on the streets.
This causes several problems, both for the residents of Conil de la Frontera and for holidaymakers who are used to better living conditions for community cats from their home countries and therefore suffer a lot when seeing under which circumstances the community cats of Conil have to live.
Citizens and associations like Street Cats Rescue have been selflessly caring for the cats for years. But unfortunately they are slowly reaching their limits: the problem of street cats is a social problem that needs to be addressed by the public administrations. Conil de la Frontera's city council can no longer look the other way but must face up to this problem that concerns everyone.
Help is urgently needed to neuter and deworm the community cats, and a local facility is needed where cats in need can be homed and cared for in collaboration with the associations and volunteers who already look after various colonies in the municipality.

Wir fordern, dass Conil de la Frontera ein "katzen-freundlicher" Ort wirdDie Straßenkatzen von Conil der la Frontera sind seit Jahren in einer prekären Situation. Täglich beobachtet man, wie die ständig wachsende Anzahl an Katzen nicht die Pflege und Versorgung erhalten, die sie benötigen und verdienen, sondern auf der Straße um ihr Überleben kämpfen.

Dies bringt mehrere Probleme mit sich, sowohl für die EinwohnerInnen von Conil als auch für Feriengäste, die ausihren Heimatländern bessere Lebensumstände fürStraßenkatzen gewohnt sind und deswegen sehr unter der Situation der Katzen in Conil leiden.

BürgerInnen und Vereine wie Street Cats Rescue kümmern sich seit Jahren selbstlos um die Versorgung und Pflege der Katzen. Aber leider stoßen sie langsam an ihre Grenzen: das Problem der Straßenkatzen ist ein soziales Problem, das von den öffentlichen Verwaltungen angegangen werden muss. Die Stadtverwaltung von Conil de la Frontera kann nicht länger wegschauen sondern muss sich diesem Problem, das alle angeht, stellen.

Es wird dringend Hilfe benötigt bei der Kastration und Entwurmung von streunenden Katzen, und es bedarf einerlokalen Einrichtung, wo Katzen in Not untergebracht werden und in Zusammenarbeit mit den Vereinen und Freiwilligen, die bereits in den Kolonien der Gemeinde helfen, versorgt werden können.
