After talking to Ros Bates today she told me she can't support this petition due to it opening it up to let perpetrators getting away with spending time in jail because they claim mental health. I totally understand what she is saying but there needs to be a way around stopping that from happening as well. There needs to be psychiatrist that know narcistic behaviours and manipulation. But also that these assessments are done if there is a chance of them getting bail. So if they do get granted then they be assessed. And also that they still do time for their crimes regardless of mental health u do the crime u do the time. Also there needs to be changes on how they deal with perpetrators while in lock up if they are on medication then they should make sure they still receive these medications on time and correct dose at all times. Changes need to be made And we all need to be proactive on finding a way to stop the system letting our loved ones down.
