ABC does story on Tweed Water Extraction

The ABC last night aired a program on "Water Extraction" in the Tweed Area. http://www.abc.net.au/7.30/bottled-water-has-become-big-business,-and-its/9573652. A comment by the water extractor in this story helps us to understand why this is contentious. When asked if he was stealing water that belonged to others he said " It is my water because I own the licence" We need to get water away from the mining approach. This is not coal or iron ore, it is an essential for life and shouldn't be owned by individuals. Please urge anyone you meet to sign this petition we nearly have 2500 signatures.
