We are at over 40,000 signatures now which is amazing and we thank you all for your support. I've read some heartening news that Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has indicated openness to intervening and supporting us in reuniting us with my dad.
She has said “If the Federal Government wants to talk to both states, I’m happy to facilitate that.” This wouldn't have been possible without all of you behind me.
I am so grateful to each one of you for signing and sharing the petition and even emailing QLD Ministers. It seems like we are very close to fulfilling my wish to say goodbye to my dad.
We are watching my dad fade away. He is holding on to meet us but his body might not support him for too long. This glimmer of hope warms my heart but we must urge our federal and state leaders to take action fast because time is running out.
