FOLKS, statistics like this can't be ignored forever. 9 out of 10 people believe the complaint process against police should be totally independent.

This highlights the obvious, something the general public have known about for years. You can't have police investigating police and expect the outcomes to be fair all the time!

Over the coming weeks, I will be publishing a survey for members of the public to undertake. This survey will be anonymous, and designed to investigate patterns of behaviour people have encountered when dealing with the police, including the complaint process. I will be publishing the link as an update, as well as on various social media groups to get as many people to participate as possible. My hope is to get at least 10,000 participants to provide some weight to the results that we will use to submit together with this petition.

In the mean time folks - we are approaching 36,000 signatures but we NEED TO DOUBLE THIS NUMBER to make this petition something politicians HAVE to take notice of.
