A TOPIC OUR POLICE AND GOVERNMENT DOES NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT!

FOLKS - please take the time to review the attached journal article regarding the psychological effects of being falsely accused of a crime.

It provides not only some valuable insight into the consequences of Police not doing their job properly, I believe very few studies actually focus on the consequences of being falsely accused of a crime on the person themselves.

It brings to light an important issue, that of compensation. You know, in Australia generally, Governments have avoided any responsibility for a person being wrongfully convicted - there is NO RIGHT TO COMPENSATION! Not even if the Police were crooked and set the person up!

THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE - AMONG A WHOLE HOST OF OTHER ISSUES.
