ONE RULE FOR CIVILIANS - QUITE ANOTHER SET OF RULES FOR COPS!

NOW LET ME SEE, DO THEY EVER SAY "THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST THIS PERSON HAS BEEN SUBSTANTIATED" WHEN THEY DO A MEDIA RELEASE AGAINST A MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC? ALSO - JUST WHEN DO THEY FOLLOW UP TO ADVISE THE PUBLIC WHEN AN OFFICER HAS BEEN CONVITED OR OTHER WISE DEALT WITH? A BIT INTENTIONALLY ONE SIDED DON'T YOU THINK? - AS WELL AS A WAY OF MAKING THESE CASES FADE IN THE MEMORY OF THE PUBLIC QUICKLY.

Why then are police officers NOT subject to the SAME Rule of Law as the rest of the community? 

THIS is not transparency at all, though it has the look of 'transparency' they protect 'their own' in ways not afforded members of the community.
