EVERY POLICE OFFICER WHO TURNS A BLIND EYE TO MISCONDUCT - IS CORRUPT! END OF STORY!

FOLKS - have you ever read a media story on police misconduct or a corruption issue, and just plain forgot about it never to hear what the outcome was? ME TOO!

This happens ALL THE TIME.

It is just a pure fact that Qld Police and our Qld Government do not like negative stories about police misconduct or corruption matters. They play this 'game' in riding out the negative stories, and have their media departments get busy ensuring 'positive warm and fuzzy' stories hit the media, or alternatively, police sympathy stories telling the public how dangerous it is out there and that police are 'busy protecting' you the public.

I say it is time for true open and accountable policing. We NEED TO HEAR ALL of the negative stories, with follow ups on what actually happens to bad police who get caught out.
