Think the police owe you a DUTY OF CARE? Think again!

Most civilians are content to think that Police are there to protect and serve the public right?

Common sense says that because Police are there to 'protect and serve' you, that they must have a duty of care towards you.

Unfortunately this is NOT true. The Supreme Court has ruled that Police owe members of the public no duty of care at all! Yes that's correct. If Police do the wrong thing, there is no DUTY OF CARE TO PROTECT YOU.

This is outrageous. The Government needs to implement changes. Changes that guarantee a minimal level of care towards those constituents that they hoodwink. I say hoodwink because often pieces of legislation and changes sneak through without any public consultation what so ever. All legislation is written with one thing in mind - minimise liability to members of the public. 

Hold on! What does this mean? It means that Governments in general are NOT acting in your best interests. They ensure your rights are minimised, all while making it look good for themselves.
