In 1939, Queen's University awarded Duncan Campbell Scott an honorary LL.D (Doctor of Laws). 

Scott is well known for his role as deputy superintendent of the Department of Indian Affairs (1913-1932), and the implementation of residential school policies.

Duncan Campbell Scott is responsible for cultural genocide. 

To honour such an abhorrent individual is to condone violence and murder. 

Patrick Deane, this is a call to rescind Duncan Campbell Scott's title, and take steps to undermine White supremacy and colonialism within our Institution.
