Well I was surprised to see that 2k+ Concerned citizens have signed this petition . I never dreamed it would get this big , and turn some heads. Now the media has written about this cause.(link below) They contacted Scott McElree for the article, and apparently the council members had concerns about this Godzilla sized distraction. But apparently the company showed them some pretty pie charts and numbers and insured that their sign will not cause any extra distractions. Ummm, I pretty sure that's the whole point of a bill board is to cause a distraction, isn't it? Anyways, Scott McElree basically said it was too late to do anything about this monstrosity of a "non distraction". So here is my next plan .... Hit the company where it hurts, their wallets! If you want to kindly ( just a suggestion) boycott every single company that advertises on that sign. So far we have: 1. Quakertown McDonald's ( go to Wendy's, or BK instead) 2. Daley Dental 3. Star Buick GMC (horrible tippers BTW) 4. Tom Skiffington of Remax 440 ( use Keller Willams or coldwell banker) 5. Grand view hospital minute clinic.
