The woman or women who have portrayed Aunt Jemima don’t deserve to be buried. Based on my research, two women are credited as modeling for the sweet picture on Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix and Syrup bottles: Nancy Green and Anna Short Harrington. Their pictures are precious to me. These have been among my favorite products all my life, and the picture is part of the reason. It’s like a warm hug with your pancakes.
