PepsiCo & Quaker Oats fails to Anna Short Harrington "AUNT JEMIMA" Royalties for 60 year!

The Issue

As the Heirs of Anna Short Harrington, lovingly known around the world as (Aunt Jemima 1935-1955), we are requesting the world to stand in solidarity with us to bring forth a comprehensive “Boycott” against PepsiCo, Quaker Oats, and Pinnacle Foods for failing to pay royalties for 60 years, and exploiting both of our Grandmothers, and Aunts. From this point forward, do not do any form of business with any company or corporation that engages in unfair business practices based on racial animus as it is obvious they have failed to compensate fairly.

PepsiCo, Quaker Oats, and Pinnacle Foods claims on their website to maintain a transparent Human Rights Policy to respect the rights and dignity of it’s workers. Both claim to deal fairly and honestly with employees regarding wages, benefits and conditions of employment. From October 28, 2013 up until present, Quaker Oats and PepsiCo have failed to correct the willful omissions of our Grandmother’s name Anna Short Harrington on their website, and Quaker Oat’s name is listed on the Certified Death Certificate. For 60 years, Quaker Oats has failed to pay a “fair share of royalties” while utilizing our Great Grandmother’s 64 formulas.

Aunt Jemima product lines have grossed more than $300,000,000.00 million dollars annually and controls over 40% of the entire global breakfast market. This boycott against all of PepsiCo and Quaker Oats products is to remain in full affect until Quaker Oats acknowledges the existence of Anna Short Harrington on their Historical website for the year of 1937, as Quaker Oats has deposited her image inside the United States Patent and Trademark Office. http://www.auntjemima.com/aj_history/

After the death of Anna S. Harrington, Quaker Oats utilized all three daughters being Aunt Deloris Hoffman, Aunt Laura Mae Patterson, and Grandma Olivia Hunter whose portrait now graces the Aunt Jemima box.

It is clear in this instance PepsiCo, Quaker Oats, and Pinnacle Food’s Human and Civil Rights Policies are not being honored, as they attempt to evade “economic parity” for these women of color, our Grandmothers and Aunts. When I say our Grandmothers in the Black community, I mean that Olivia Hunter was a Foster Care Grandmother inflicted with "Cancer" and simultaneously taking care of 5 babies under the age of 4 for the City of Syracuse, when Quaker Oats procured her photo knowing they simultanesouly owed royalties for using her mother's likeness and formulas being Anna S. Harrington.

PepsiCo states on their website:

“We deal fairly and honestly with our associates regarding wages, benefits and other conditions of employment, and recognizing our associates’ right to freedom of association. We do not use compulsory or child labor.”   http://www.pepsico.com/Company/Policies

Stand in solidarity with us for this Boycott, and order a pink button of "Olivia Hunter" that was inflicted with cancer, and I will give a percentage of the proceeds from the buttons to an organization for cancer awareness.
