I have not yet received any reply from Anthony Lynham, who is the minister for the DNRME. He is responsible for the ban on hydrocarbon refrigerant. Other companies have also tried contacting him about this issue but have had responses like those you'd expect from internet trolls. Must have something to do with a corruption racket such as The Worldwide Synthetic Refrigerants Alliance.

If you live in QLD, this affects you!
Consumers - you're being denied the right to choose energy efficient methods for your air conditioners.
Technicians - you're at risk of heavy fines if you touch a system with your tools and it contains hydrocarbon refrigerant or is changed to hydrocarbon at a later date.

This petition will remain active. Shadow minister Dale Last has indicated his intentions of lifting the ban if LNP win the QLD state election on October 31.
