Qdoba sprung the discontinuation of the tortilla soup on us unexpectedly in an email hoping to gain our favors with a free entree. For many people, tortilla soup was the main or even the only reason we would go to Qdoba; it made them different from other fast food mexican places! Its all that I've gotten the past few years, even when I would go pickup food for everyone at my work every single Sunday! I loved the tortilla soup so much, anytime someone had trouble figuring out what to get, I'd turn into a salesman for the tortilla soup. Even after moving away, I still try to make the 40+ minute drive to the closest Qdoba, even if it means passing multiple Chipotles or authentic Mexican restaurants. 

Getting rid of the tortilla soup with no explanation or warning will cost Qdoba customers flat out; what about even a mention of making it seasonal or just at participating locations? Qdoba isn't afraid of trying new things, eacpecially their queso which Chipotle has since tried to imitate and fail at! Replacing something cheap but delicious like the soup, but choosing to try and jump on fad diet ingredients, won't hold up in the long run.

Qdoba, please rethink discontinuing the tortilla soup! At the very least, turning it into something seasonal would be such a great idea and won't break your longtime (10+ years personally) fans' hearts!
