Since June of 2017, after political disputes between the government of Qatar and Egypt, it is stopped the opportunity for egyptian nationals to obtain a work visa to work in Qatar.

Qatar since year has been a second home for a lot of egyptian citizen that not only have found a job opportunity but have created their life and family in this country. Before this blockade you could find egyptian expats in every sector and in very reputable positions.

This situation radically changed after the blockade against Qatar announced by the Egyptian government. At that moment not only the diplomatic and political relations were suddenly stopped between the two countries but most important started a silent war toward the egyptian expats.

A lot of companies fired their staff just because of their nationality, the governement did not issued anymore work or visit visas for egyptian nationals, some companies worstened the work conditions of their egyptian employees to force them to leave the country or to pressure them to work for less monetary retribuition and with worst job allowances.

Nowdays the number of egyptian expats is diminuating day after day and the egyptian government continues on their stubborness in keeping blocked the relation with Qatar.

The affected from this are not the politicians but the people. Those people who have lost their jobs, those people who can not seek another opportunity and change their company, those people who can not bring their families to live with them, those who can not even bring their families to visit them. Got affecte from this situation their economy, their salaries getting reduced, their expenses in extremeley high airfares to go to their home country, their families wellbeing but more over their integrity in the society.

All of the egyptian expats in Qatar are getting affected day after day and their politicians are completely indiferent.

Lets gather all together and show to them that a huge amount of people is being affected from this situation and in same time to show to the Qatar Emir that egyptians do not agree with the actions of Egypt's politicians.
