To Qantas CEO Vanessa Hudson and the Qantas Board. We the citizens of Australia, want to remind you that the forthcoming Voice to Parliament Referendum, relates to changing our Constitution, it is our decision to make and it is our individual votes that will count. IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

The business of Qantas is to run a safe, reliable, on time airline, providing customers with top class service. Nothing more, nothing less.

For former CEO Alan Joyce, to throw the full support of Qantas behind the Yes Vote in the Voice to Parliament Referendum was a huge mistake. He overlooked the fact that the Board, Qantas staff and Qantas customers would for a least 50% and possibly more support the No vote. This was a gross abuse of corporate power.

Ms. Hudson, we feel that to overcome this blunder and to restore some credibility to the Qantas brand. That you immediately undertake the following steps.

1.      To immediately and publicly state that Qantas is taking a neutral stance to the Voice to Parliament Referendum. And withdrawing all support for the Yes vote.

2.      Qantas will immediately paint over, all supportive artwork of the Yes Vote on Qantas and Jetstar aircraft. (UNTIL THE ARTWORK SUPPORTING THE YES VOTE IS PAINTED OVER, QANTAS SUPPORT FOR THE YES VOTE REMAINS AND FLYS ALL OVER AUSTRALIA!)

3.      Qantas will seek a full refund of all donations made on behalf of Qantas to the Yes campaign. Failing the Yes campaign being unable to repay the donations in full or part. Qantas will make a matching donation to the No Campaign

4.      Qantas will honor the agreement to fly Yes campaigners around Australia for free. But will make the same offer to the No campaign.

We the signatories, look forward to Qantas taking these steps and moving towards restoring its credibility.
