What is Commandos?: Commandos is a real-time tactics game developed by Pyro Studios and published by Eidos Interactive, in which the player takes command of to four squads of commandos and allies tasked to complete different objectives in a lot of different missions around the globe during the World War II. The first game, Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, was released July 1998, and the last installment of the franchise - Commandos 3: Destintion Berlin, was released October 2003 for PC & Mac OS. (Not counting Commandos: Strike Force, released in 2006, because the game falls in First-Person Shooter category).

Why we (the fans of the franchise and the genre in general) want a new Commandos game? Well, many hardcore fans, like me, of the franchise are waiting with high hopes for a new game since Commandos 2/3: Destination Berlin was released 10-11 years ago. I and many other people around the globe think and believe, or at least I hope they do, that the Real-time tactics genre is still alive. To be honest, nowadays such games like Commandos doesn't exist as far as I know, maybe because developers don't think there is interest in the genre, or I don't know. I know only one thing - There is, but you need to notice it. There is still much, much more potential in the franchise. I am absolutely sure that the fan base of the game is still big enough and that somehow with this petition we and everyone who have played the games and knows what really the franchise is, can reach to Pyro Studios (now Pyro Mobile for not known to me reasons) and somehow encourage, inspire or whatever you want, them to continue the franchise that made them popular as a game developer, even though the core team that developed it is not working at Pyro anymore. But anyway, you know, everything on this planet is possible, right? I know that maybe with this petition we will not do anything, but at least we can try. I hope what I've said is enough.
