Frederick County School Board has inflicted a new pyjama pants ban to kick off the 25-26 school year which was immediately met with outrage from both students and parents alike. Where students found themselves the most affected by the sheer vagueness behind the rule, where teachers argued on what could be classified as pyjama pants, and parents found it near impossible to start finding school clothes for their children this year. 

The claim it’s to “help prepare you for your future” is contradictory in itself. College kids wake up early for long lectures and wear comfortable pyjama pants in order to stay comfortable while they sit for a consecutive period of time. 

By signing this petition it will help show the school board the mutual outrage among students and hopefully lead them to lift the ban.
