Dear Friends- Court went well today - we had 70-75 supporters show up. Farmers bail was increased to 225,000 as the DA added 11 more felony counts which carries a maximum sentence of 16 years. The total of cats that were killed by Farmer went from 10 to 21. Am I surprised? NO-given the amount of cat hair found in his car. It makes me sick to my stomach to think that this monster tortured and killed 21 cats-God only knows how many more he killed and tortured. A member asked DA Ellis if Farmer would have to register as a sex offender and the DA's response was perhaps! As I told the reporter today - we are not going away- if Farmers attorney thinks that with time our numbers will diminish he is a fool as we will keep coming back -we are committed to seeing this monster put away for the maximum amount of time . Next hearing will be October 4th which oddly enough happens to be World Animal Day at 9 am court room 39.
