You're the First Fifty

You're in elite company. You have the distinction of being among the First Fifty supporters of 'Put Our Flag First!' Every signature counts toward changing the colonial-era policy of lowering our flag to more than 30 overseas royals and their representatives. Thank you for demonstrating your faith in what should be obvious to every Canadian: that no other flag in Canada should take precedence ahead of our Maple Leaf. Now to spread the word. Most folks appear to be unaware of the federally-decreed insult to the flag. When they hear about it, a certain righteous outrage boils up. Let's reach folks to tell them, and invite them to sign. Email your contacts, your Facebook friends, MP and local newspapers/radio/TV stations. Send them a link to the petition. Odds are, they aren't aware of the offending rule. Media are interested in the flag, having covered its 50th anniversary this month. In 2015, as we mark a half century of our flag and look ahead to an election, we're betting every politician and news editor in the country will side with us. To the keyboards!
