A new government in Ottawa means a new Minister of Canadian Heritage, the head of the department that propagates our out-of-date flag rules, and to whom this petition is directed. While Pablo Rodriguez is the new minister, he’s not new to the job, having held it in 2018-19. So it’s time he heard from us again.

If you’ve signed this petition, send Rodriguez a fresh email to urge him to update Canada’s flag edicts -- ones which put royal and vice-regal flags ahead of the Maple Leaf, and use the British flag in place of more appropriate ones:
