Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that Disney finally selected its new CEO, Josh D'Amaro, to replace Bob Iger starting March 18th, 2026.

This choice seems very promising because I've heard a bunch of positive stuff about him. For example, D’Amaro says AI will not replace human creativity while he is CEO. He also happens to be a fan of the Muppets.

Other things we also hope D'Amaro will do when he becomes CEO is:

• Giving the company a proper course correction.
• Have Disney go back to its roots of what makes the franchise enjoyable to us fans.
• Having no more live-action remakes.
• Having more original animated movies (especially 2D/hand drawn animation).
• Stop including harmful and unnecessary (woke) agendas.
• Having Disney+ add more missing nostalgic Disney content to its collection like we have been requesting.

Another thing to address is that Sean Baker (the creator of the petition to add Buzz Lightyear of Star Command to Disney+) strongly suggests we contact the top brass and has provided the email addresses of who to contact, especially Josh D'Amaro (and the President of Disney+).

Other news is that this petition now has 3,892 signatures. Thank you, everyone. Let's continue to keep up the good work.

Let's continue to move forward with signing and sharing this petition to reach the next milestone to encourage Disney+ to make a bigger and better effort once and for all. We need to remember that it’s not just Disney+ that needs to make the effort — we need to make that effort to.
