Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that August 11, 2025 marks 30 years since the short, Runaway Brain, was released in theatres along with A Kid in King Arthur's Court. This would have been the right time for Disney+ to add this short, but this has not yet happened. Such a missed opportunity and completely unfair that this short is not on the streaming platform, but A Kid in King Arthur's Court is.

Despite receiving mixed reviews from audiences, the short was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 68th Academy Awards. Later references to the cartoon have been made in Disney related media, such as the video game Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

We need to keep fighting the good fight and make our voices heard to get Disney+ to make the real effort to add more missing nostalgic Disney content that we have been requesting, especially Runaway Brain. The streaming platform need to better job of listening to our requests.

Other news is that this petition now has 3,801 supporters. That means only 1,199 more supporters to get to the next goal (and 199 more supporters to get to 4,000)! Thank you very much so far. Let's continue to keep up the good work with signing and sharing to reach that next milestone.
