Thank you for signing this petition. We now have 2,501 signees yet the EBRPSS refuses to even review Narcisse's contract. Dawn Collins has consistently championed for our collective voices. Evelyn Ware-Jackson has been speaking out much more often. Connie Bernard and Jill Dyason will demand answers from Narcisse occasionally.
Qualifying for candidacy for the school board takes place July 20 - 22 even though the district maps are still being litigated. The Court of Appeals ruled that the 2014 maps will be used for qualifying. THERE IS A TRAINING EVENT THIS THURSDAY if you are interested at all in running for EBRPSS School Board: July 7, 5 to 7PM, at the Mid City Ballroom on 136 S. Acadian Thruway (70806)You must be 18 years old and a resident of the district you run in.
Are you FAMILIAR with our public school system as demonstrated by enrolling your children, serving all children, or attending as a student?
Are you aware of the importance of protecting traditional public school FUNDING?
Are you educated enough to know that faculty need FREEDOM over the pacing and curriculum to better meet individual needs?

Face the Facts: Five out of nine of our current EBRPSS School Board Members lack familiarity.
Most vote to squander funding that belongs in the classroom.
Most do not understand developmental needs of children or what the daily lives of faculty encompasses.
We are looking for retired faculty in particular.
We are not seeking felons, foolish folks, or fakes.
Change begins with you. Contact school board members. The big finance meeting is the 14th. Consider a run for office. You will have support.
