PUT CRAZY RAY IN THE COWBOYS RING OF HONOR

The Issue

SOMETIMES YOUR MOST VALUABLE PLAYER ISN’T A PLAYER
Over 46 seasons, Wilford “Crazy Ray” Jones attended nearly every Dallas Cowboys home game as the unofficial mascot of America’s team. Neither rain nor snow nor Steve Pelleur could keep him from thrilling the crowd. Now let’s give our ultimate fan the ultimate honor. Sign this petition and convince Jerry Jones to put Crazy Ray in the Ring of Honor.

EVERYBODY LOVES RAY
Every NFL team has Hall of Fame Players. The Cowboys had a Hall of Fame fan. Wilford Jones began as a vendor at the Cotton Bowl where he gained renown for his magic tricks, entertaining antics and an impossible to ignore presence in the stands. He soon graduated to the sidelines as Crazy Ray, where he inspired fans for decades in his signature chaps, cowboy hat and blue vest. Never once paid for his service, Ray showed up solely for the love of his team over five coaches, two stadiums and eight trips to the Super Bowl. Upon his passing in 2007, Jerry Jones proclaimed Crazy Ray “the most dedicated, entertaining and passionate of Cowboys fans.”

COMMITMENT LIKE THIS DESERVES A RING
Crazy Ray left it all on the field without ever leaving the sidelines. And for his unwavering commitment to the Cowboys and their fans, Ray deserves to be spoken in the same breath as Landry, Lilly, Aikman and Staubach. Sign the petition to get Jerry Jones to put Ray in the Ring of Honor and let’s give the man who wowed the crowd a permeant place above it.

JERRY, YOU'D BE CRAZY NOT TO.
PUT CRAZY RAY IN THE COWBOYS RING OF HONOR.
