Unfortunately, but predictably, the UK Government is going to try to override the objection to the PRC embassy by Tower Hamlets Council. Not surprisingly, I have never received a reply to my petition from my current MP or David Lammy, it looks like they are happy to ignore the human rights issues but we shouldn't give up and hopefully by continuing to promote this petition we can turn this decision around.
