At this time the COVID-19 virus has infected almost every country on this planet.
Countries are in full Lock-Down, people are forced to stay home to slow down the spread of this virus. Everyday thousands of people are getting infected.
Doctors all over the world are working themselves to death to help all the infected people and threat as many people as they can.
Worldwide millions have already been fired from their jobs and many of those will not be able to survive financially in the weeks to come.
Thousands of small businesses will get in severe financial problems and could go bankrupt.
All around the world the healthcare system is united in fighting the COVID-19 the best they can.
The lack of hospital equipment is being compensated all over the world.
Carmakers are building ventilators and all sorts of companies are donating there protection gear to hospitals. Everything is done by everyone to battle this pandemic the best we can.
One of the remaining biggest problems is that Roche pharmaceuticals is incapable to keep up with the demand on their COVID-19 test kits. Kits that are needed to find out if a person is infected with the COVID-19 virus.
This means that countries are not able to test all their citizens for infection and give them the right treatment. Or have the capability to keep an accurate track of the virus outbreak.
The whole world is coming together to fight this pandemic as an united front and meanwhile Roche pharmaceuticals refuses to share the knowledge of their COVID-19 tests with other companies to protect their Intellectual Property.
It seems that Roche pharmaceuticals finds it more important to protect their profit then to help 7.8 billion people battle a virus of unknown proportions.
Being able to test all the people as fast as possible is not only essential to those that are infected but also has the potential to speed up the recovery of the global economy.
As soon as we know who is immune we can kickstart the economy again and try and safe as many as possible from bankruptcy.
The unwillingness of Roche pharmaceuticals to think about the people and share their knowledge in times of a global crisis could be the difference between a global economic crisis or a global economic depression.
