Hi y'all today I found out that puppy mills are still legal in California, USA and I really want to shut them down. This is a serious problem in California as most pet stores partner with puppy mills to sell them for profit of the store. Most puppy mill dogs are emaciated and stuffed in little crates and forced to breed until they no longer can and are either killed or sent out to live in streets where animal control will find them and most likely euthanize them. On the other hand most puppies from puppy mills are sent around the world to different pet stores in the USA and other countries where they are put up for sell for thousands of dollars because they are "purebred" and worth lots of money. Then you buy the dog and it most likely won't live past 4-6 years of age because of all their health issues. What i want to do is Make it illegal to own or run a puppy mill in California and stop these animal abusers/criminals. If puppy mills continue to decease then so will dogs with health problems and so will animals who end up out on the street and dogs that are euthanized. Please sign this petition and help stop puppy mills in California and everywhere else in the USA!
