We would like to draw your attention to the growing problem of garbage dumping in Bavdhan. Garbage is dumped at all the wrong places in each lane of Bavdhan. A large no of shops & street vendors throw garbage on the streets. Leaves and cuttings of trees are thrown on the road or burnt. The service road on the highway is in a pathetic condition with garbage being thrown from Bavdhan Budruk.

Volunteers of Bavdhan Citizens Forum (BCF) are continuously raising the issue with the concerned sanitation department and officials, both online & offline. We would have raised 100+ complaints. Some are fixed and some are closed without processing. This has become the daily work of the citizens for the past few months.

Now, however, we have run out of patience. This situation is becoming dangerous for the health of the citizens. It has become difficult to walk on the road and lot of corners stink.

What we demand is a permanent solution and disciplined approach to everyday cleaning and garbage collection. We would request yourself to please formulate a plan for Bavdhan and share the same.

As Bavdhan Citizens Forum, we pride in working with the administration to get the work done.

We would really appreciate if we were invited to discuss the plan. Since we know our area well, we are maybe able to give better solutions on some matters. We assure you that we can work with your teams and manage to find permanent solution to this problem.
