Puerto Galera, Or. Mindoro. The Phesi windfarm project endangers the unspoiled rainforest of the entire ridgeline between Mt Alinbayan and Mt Malasimbo. This must not happen. We suggest that the wind turbines be implemented at the top of Mt Alinbayan, where the road currently ends, but no further. Save Mt Malasimbo, a jewel of the region! This ridgeline is known as "the Puerto Galera Mountain Trail" by the local mountaineers, and is covered in pristine rainforest, which must be preserved.
